Job Summary Visual Edge IT is seeking a mechanically inclined, customer-focused Copier/Printer Service Technician to join our growing team! The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining copiers and printers at customer locations. This field-based position combines hands-on technical work with direct customer interaction. Previous copier or printer experience is a plus, but not required. We provide a comprehensive training program and encourage mechanically inclined individuals with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills to apply. Primary Responsibilities Maximize equipment uptime by responding quickly and completing effective, efficient repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of copiers, printers, and related devices. Diagnose technical issues using customer feedback, electronic data, and observations. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication and dependable service. Partner with clients, sales teams, and internal staff to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations. Accurately complete service documentation, including parts usage, call closures, and meter readings. Provide feedback to improve processes and support continuous improvement efforts. Some travel is required. Knowledge, Skills, And Qualifications 3+ years of industry experience is preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills. Prior experience servicing office equipment such as copiers and printers preferred; Xerox, Ricoh, Kyocera, or HP experience a plus. An associate degree or higher in electronics or electrical engineering is preferred equivalent experience will be considered. Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic knowledge of networking and computer systems Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must meet company vehicle eligibility requirements) At Visual Edge IT, We Are Proud To Provide: Work-Life Balance We promote a healthy work-life balance for employees by offering competitive pay, PTO, and seven paid holidays per year.
