The Opportunity We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join a regional EMEA Regulatory Affairs organization on a 12-month fixed-term contract . This position will play a critical role in supporting regulatory operations across multiple markets, ensuring the effective management of regulatory distribution controls, issue resolution, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Working within an international environment, the successful candidate will partner with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global Operations teams to help drive compliance, visibility, and operational excellence across the region. Key Responsibilities Monitor, investigate, and coordinate resolution of regulatory blocks and distribution control issues across EMEA markets. Support regional Regulatory Affairs teams by managing issue tracking, communication, escalation activities, and resolution follow-up. Analyze SAP, S4HANA, ECC, and related system data to identify and resolve regulatory and operational issues. Conduct root cause investigations and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Maintain and optimize Regulatory Distribution Control processes in collaboration with local and regional stakeholders. Prepare, analyze, and present reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operational decision-making. Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities through data-driven analysis. Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality, Commercial, and Global Operations teams to support uninterrupted business operations and compliance requirements. Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to improve reporting quality, operational visibility, and process efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on simplification, standardization, and operational excellence. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline. Minimum 2 years of professional experience within Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Compliance, or a related environment. Experience working with SAP, S4HANA, ECC, or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience working in a regulated industry such as Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or FMCG is preferred. Exposure to process improvement, automation, digitalization, or reporting enhancement initiatives is highly desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills within a cross-functional and international environment. Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Why Join?
