Position Details Location: BayCare Surgery Center – Trinity – 2020 Trinity Oaks Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655 Status: Full-Time Shift: Variable, Days On Call: No Always in person The Ambulatory Surgery RN Responsibilities Include RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we require at least 2 years of RN experience with 1 year RN experience in Surgery preferred. This is a Full Time position working 40 hours per week that will be focused on circulating Ambulatory Surgery. Surgery or Ambulatory Surgery experience is strongly preferred. Certifications And Licensures BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
