THIS POSITION IS BASED OUT OF BAYTOWN. 3003 KILGORE PARKWAY, BAYTOWN, TEXAS 77523 Position Summary Texas Materials is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact for customers, sales teams, dispatch, and operations. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders accurately, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring customer inquiries are resolved promptly and professionally. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Process customer orders and enter information accurately into company systems. Coordinate with dispatch, plant operations, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products. Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery status, and account information. Resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Assist with billing inquiries, order corrections, and account maintenance. Generate reports and support administrative tasks as assigned. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Follow company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. 2+ years of customer service, administrative support, or inside sales experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Experience in the construction, aggregates, ready-mix, asphalt, or building materials industry. Experience with order entry, dispatch, transportation logistics, or ERP systems. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work collaboratively across departments. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and positive attitude. Ability to learn company products, processes, and systems quickly.
