Role Description The CDL A Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role located in Emporia, KS. This position is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport equipment, materials, and waste to and from client locations in support of pumping and jetting services. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following assigned routes and schedules, and complying with all DOT and company safety regulations. The driver will operate pumps, load/unload hoses, tools, and service equipment, and may support field technicians at job sites as needed. The role also involves maintaining accurate delivery and service documentation, communicating effectively with dispatch and customers, and keeping vehicles clean and in good working order. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations. Experience operating commercial trucks and related equipment, such as tankers or service vehicles. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections, identify issues, and coordinate maintenance. Strong focus on safety, situational awareness, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various conditions. Reliable time management skills and ability to follow routes, schedules, and instructions with minimal supervision. Clear communication skills for interacting with dispatchers, team members, and customers at job sites. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in facilities services, waste hauling, or industrial field work is beneficial. Willingness to work occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends based on service demand.
