# Outside Sales Consultant – Roofing & Exterior Restoration

We're looking for someone who has already developed their sales skills and understands what it takes to manage a pipeline, communicate with customers, follow through on opportunities, and produce results. Your experience doesn't have to be in roofing. If you've been successful in outside sales, D2D, home improvement, solar, automotive, telecommunications, insurance, or another performance-driven sales environment , we want to hear from you. You bring the sales experience. We'll teach you the roofing industry. OFFICE LOCATION Office 110 – Des Moines, IA Report To Office: 8450 Hickman Rd, Suite 26 Clive, IA 50325 Hiring throughout the Des Moines area, including surrounding communities. Important: This position services the Des Moines, IA market . While you will travel locally to customer appointments, all training, team meetings, and business-related activities are based out of our Clive, IA office . Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Clive office as required. JOB SNAPSHOT Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2) Compensation: $70,000–$200,000+ Pay Structure: Weekly Pay + Uncapped Commission Training: Paid Training Provided Schedule: Daytime, evenings, and occasional weekends based on customer appointments Travel: Local travel throughout the Des Moines market Experience: Sales experience required; roofing experience preferred What You’ll Do WHAT YOU'LL DO Meet with homeowners to identify roofing and exterior restoration needs. Build strong customer relationships and establish trust throughout the sales process. Conduct property inspections and identify potential project opportunities. Present solutions clearly and confidently based on customer needs. Manage the sales process from initial appointment through project completion. Prospect, follow up, and maintain an active sales pipeline. Handle customer questions and objections professionally. Ask for the sale and confidently move opportunities forward. Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout their projects. Use company-provided technology and tools to document customer and project information. Coordinate with internal teams to support a successful customer experience. Represent Aspen Contracting professionally in the community. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for proven sales professionals who are ready for their next opportunity. You should be someone who: Has previous professional sales experience. Has a demonstrated ability to build relationships and generate business. Is comfortable prospecting and developing opportunities. Can confidently present solutions and handle objections. Understands how to manage and follow up on a sales pipeline. Is comfortable asking for the sale and closing business. Takes ownership of individual performance and results. Is self-motivated and able to work independently in the field. Is organized and capable of managing multiple customer opportunities. Is professional, dependable, and customer-focused. Is motivated by uncapped earning potential. Is willing to learn the roofing and exterior restoration industry. Experience in outside sales, D2D, roofing, home improvement, solar, automotive, telecommunications, insurance, or other performance-driven sales environments is strongly valued. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Previous sales experience required. Outside sales or D2D sales experience strongly preferred. Roofing or home improvement experience is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel locally throughout the assigned market. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team. Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and company-provided technology. Must be able to reliably commute to the Clive, IA reporting office for required training, meetings, and business activities. Compensation & Benefits QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years old.
