Role Overview: A critical care physician specializing in anesthesia and intensive care, responsible for managing high-acuity ICU patients across multiple units, including SICU, MICU, CICU, CVICU, and RCU. Responsibilities Provide expert critical care, airway management, line placement, and cardiovascular monitoring, with ECMO experience preferred. Lead daily multidisciplinary ICU rounds and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during shifts. Participate in quality management activities, develop treatment protocols, and analyze outcomes to improve patient care. Engage in hospital medical and audit activities, including morbidity and mortality reviews. Qualifications & Skills Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology and Critical Care with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine. Strong clinical service commitment, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. Experience with advanced cardiac support devices such as Impella, IABP, ECMO, and proficiency in noninvasive ventilation. Work Environment & Benefits: 12-hour shifts working 7O/7O, with a team-based approach providing 24-hour coverage across ICUs. EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation.
