About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states

Provide highly complex technical and administrative services, which include the following: (a) integrated logistical support (ILS) services; and (b) development of technical publications (such as DMWR's, TM's, DM's, SWl's, etc.)
Prepare initial draft of Depot Maintenance Study for prime mission assignment in support of the Project Manager's Office (PMO) and assists the proponent or major subordinate command in preparation of the Depot Maintenance Support Plan (DMSP).
Prepare formal and informal reports and recommendations to major subordinate command/Project Manager's Office advising of current/projected program status, potential problems,
and recommended solutions in order to establish depot-level maintenance capabilities.
Manage the preparation of assigned writing/editing projects, including preparation and coordination of preliminary and final drafts
Develop, maintain, and control a standardized method of analyzing existing technical data, work instructions and proposed dept-level maintenance concepts of the total weapons system to include all armament and fire control.
Develop, maintain, and monitor Shop Work Instructions (SWl's), Work Station Instructions (WSl's), and Maintenance Task Lists (MTL's).

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
