Financial Analyst I

Mutual of Enumclaw is expanding, and we're hiring a Financial Analyst I to help drive that growth. You'll work directly with the Holding Company CFO on strategic planning, forecasting, and Board-level presentations; great exposure for someone early in their finance career. Location: The successful candidate will work at our office in Seattle, WA. What You'll Do • Dig into financial analysis, business cases, and executive presentations that shape our strategy Help put together reporting packages for management and the Board Get into the weeds on long-range planning, capital/investment analysis, and M&A due diligence Build financial models that inform real decisions, not just spreadsheets that sit in a folder Team up with folks across Finance, Product, Claims, IT, and Actuarial What You'll Bring • A solid handle on financial statements and core finance/accounting concepts A sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving The ability to explain the numbers in plain English to non-finance folks Comfort in Excel/PowerPoint, and curiosity to use AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to work smarter A self-starter mindset and the flexibility to roll with a fast-paced environment Education & Experience • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or Business Admin (3.5 GPA+ preferred) New grads welcome; we'd love to hear from you Insurance coursework/internships and progress toward CFA/CPA/MBA are a nice bonus, not a requirement Hiring Range: $70,400 - $78,200 Salary Range: $70,400 - $86,100 Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Financial Analyst II position. Compensation and position will be commensurate with experience. Financial Analyst II Hiring Range: $77,000 - $86,300 Salary Range: $77,000 - $98,900 Why this Role?
