In this role you will get to support the Department of State and Diplomatic Security in providing technical security solutions for US Embassies, Consulates, and missions around the globe. What You'll Be Doing Support planned projects for Technical Security Upgrades and Installations at US Missions, Embassies, and Consulates. Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project. Oversees establishment of Project Management Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Monitors and negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. What Required Skills You'll Bring Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirement Effective leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity Excellent written and oral communications skills Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects Bachelor's Degree Engineering or related technical/business field 10+ years of related work experience A broad general technical and business background Ability to travel at least 20% What Desired Skills You'll Bring Experience with Department of State, Diplomatic Security, and Security Technology Travel to US Embassies and Consulates abroad PMP certification Security Clearance Requirement An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
