Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Full-Time Nights

Role Overview: This position involves providing advanced nursing care in a fast-paced, technical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Render direct and indirect patient care, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Supervise team members, communicate effectively, build collaborative relationships, and promote a safe, therapeutic environment. Ensure accurate documentation, administer medications and IVs safely, and support patient education. Take accountability for professional growth and performance, continuously seeking quality improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Must hold a current Texas nursing license and Basic Life Support certification. Minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards is essential. Excellent communication, teamwork, and a commitment to patient safety are required. Additional Info: Physical demands include standing, moving, and handling equipment; exposure to blood and body fluids; and working indoors in a dynamic environment.
