Unit: OPERATING ROOM Job Summary: The Surgical Technologist performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients. The tasks and responsibilities include:-Collaborates with physician and Registered Nurses to serve in support role within CVOR. Responsible for supplies, instrumentation and equipment needed for surgical cases. Proficient in surgical environment as surgical assistant passing instruments and assisting the physician during surgical cases. Requirements: Job Qualifications include:-High School Diploma or equivalent.-Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists-Surgical Technologist certification REQUIRED-Must have experience in Adult and Pediatric CVOR in addition to other OR services-Detail-oriented with ability to sustain concentration over long periods of time.-Call required for pediatric and adult CVOR All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
