Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis

Role: Inpatient RN CAP 2 with at least 1 year of dialysis experience, responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care for patients with kidney disease. Responsibilities Perform assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and evaluate patient responses. Delegate tasks to care staff, coordinate communication with healthcare providers, and ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families on treatment processes and monitor patient status, reporting any variations. Administer medications, manage intradialytic transfusions, and respond to emergencies. Lead, mentor, and serve as a resource for team members, supporting quality improvement initiatives. Complete required training and CAP requirements for professional development. Qualifications & Skills Current state licensure and CPR/BLS certification. Minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience, with preferred acute dialysis background. Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, perform physical tasks, and work in healthcare settings. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Additional Info: May supervise other staff, assist in outpatient settings, and participate in on-call rotations. The role involves physical activity, travel, and adherence to healthcare regulations. Compensation ranges from $39.00 to $55.00 hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package.
