Mammography Technologist - Full Time

Role: Mammography Technologist responsible for providing high-quality mammography services in accordance with physicians' orders and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic mammography imaging, ensuring proper positioning, image quality, and patient comfort. Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy, and prepare films for interpretation. Input patient data accurately into computer systems and verify procedures with physician orders. Educate patients on procedures, address concerns, and promote a positive experience. Maintain radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure, perform equipment checks, and ensure regulatory compliance (MQSA/ACR). Monitor patient condition during procedures, respond to emergencies, and assist in first aid if needed. Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and participate in quality assurance activities. Collaborate effectively with team members, rotate shifts, and participate in training and policy development. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and Basic Life Support certification required at hire. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. State of Washington Mammography Technologist certification and ARRT-M registration preferred; training provided if experienced radiology technician. Preferred: One year of mammography experience.
