Required Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of public accounting experience. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations. Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns. Proficiency with accounting, tax, and financial reporting software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Preferred 5+ years of public accounting experience. Experience with tax planning and consulting services. Familiarity with QuickBooks and cloud-based accounting platforms. Experience supervising or mentoring staff. Knowledge of small business and closely held company accounting.
