# Accounting and Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Specialist to be assigned to the headquarters of our 100% foreign-capital company located in Karaköy, Istanbul. ACTIVITIES Conducting reconciliation meetings for domestic customer collections and vendor payments Controlling and booking transactions for bank accounts, current accounts, cheques, and petty cash Preparing monthly and quarterly CAR (Customer Aging Report), SAR (Supplier Aging Report), BCL, and EI reports Managing and submitting e-Ledger (E-Defter) processes Supporting the preparation of financial statements Supporting the execution of general accounting operations in compliance with tax legislation, accounting procedures, and regulations Supporting the creation of accounting entries in accordance with the chart of accounts Preparing and reviewing VAT, Stamp Duty tax returns, and VAT refund lists Managing invoicing and payment processes Preparing and presenting financial statements Strong knowledge of general accounting, finance, financial accounting, and core accounting principles Performing necessary controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data REQUIREMENTS University degree in a relevant field Excellent command of English Strong knowledge of general accounting and relevant legislation Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position Proficient in MS Office applications Experience in the Logistics / Freight Forwarding sector preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Good team player FRATELLI COSULICH GROUP Founded in 1857 as a shipping company, Fratelli Cosulich is today a diversified multinational Group that remains controlled by the Cosulich family.
