# Project Data Analyst- Medicaid Analysis

Work You'll Do As a Project- Analytics and Insights Engineer I, on the project, you will: Analyze large volumes of medical claims to uncover billing anomalies, outlier patterns, and potential improper payments
• turning raw data into actionable insights that protect program integrity and taxpayer dollars. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to analyze large-scale Medicaid claims datasets. Work hands-on with medical claims data, including DRGs, UB-04 institutional claims, and CMS-1500 professional claims, applying knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding. Build dashboards and analytical visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks) to surface risk indicators and support investigative teams. Partner with program integrity, healthcare operations, and analytics colleagues to identify emerging fraud, waste, and abuse patterns. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Preferred: Experience with Data Visualization
• Power BI, Fraud Detection and Prevention. Experience with Python
