# RN - GERIATRIC PSYCH

Summary EAMC MISSION At East Alabama Medical Center, our mission is high quality, compassionate health care, and that statement guides everything we do. We set high standards for customer service, quality, and keeping costs under control. POSITION SUMMARY The Psychiatric RN will provide direct patient care. They will promote a culture of patient safety on the unit. This nurse works closely with the treatment team to coordinate care and implement interventions. Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Associates degree in nursing or equivalent. Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification Registered Nursing license. BLS and CPI within 90 days of hire. Preferred Education Bachelors in Nursing or equivalent Preferred Experience Experience in psychiatry. Recent hospital experience preferred. Preferred Registration/License/Certification N/A Other Requirements N/A
