Acute Care Registered Nurse

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Renal Medicine Provide complex, evidence-based nursing care for patients with acute and chronic kidney conditions, including pre- and post-dialysis management. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring. Administer medications and therapies per clinical standards. Monitor laboratory results, fluid balance, and patient response to treatment. Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Educate patients and families to support understanding and self-management. Support safe transitions of care and continuity across care settings. Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure and ability to manage acute, complex patient needs. Strong clinical judgment with attention to detail in lab and fluid monitoring. Effective communication and teamwork with providers, patients, and families. Patient-centered approach with commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
