Support daily functions within the department ensuring accurate and timely billing and posting of insurance and patient payments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Initial review and charge entry of encounter forms, preparation and processing manual insurance claims, evaluation of patients financial status and establish budget payment plans with proper follow-up and reporting status of delinquent accounts. In addition, working with other departments within LCHC to communicate any inaccuracies and providing patients with insurance benefit interpretations.
