Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Site Security in Clearwater, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Drive patrol routes, conduct routine inspections, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM • 05:15 PMTue08:00 AM • 05:15 PMWed08:00 AM • 05:00 PMThur08:00 AM • 05:15 PMFri08:00 AM • 05:15 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government revenue collection location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, public service counters, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report unusual conditions, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate. Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and document incidents, patrol findings, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
