Senior Staff Accountant

Well-established company looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This person will play an important role in the month-end close and financial reporting process while working closely with the broader finance team. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage month-end and year-end close activities Prepare and review journal entries Perform monthly account reconciliations Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules Handle accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and other accounting areas Research and resolve discrepancies Assist with budgeting and financial analysis Support annual audits and provide requested documentation Assist with AP/AR and other accounting functions as needed Identify process improvements and help strengthen accounting procedures Work closely with internal teams and management on accounting-related matters Assist with special projects as needed REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–6+ years of accounting experience
