LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a LOGISITCS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. You will manage and synchronize petroleum logistics operations, including coordinating resource allocation, assessing assets for cross-leveling, and aligning efforts with partners. You will analyze readiness data to identify critical logistics shortfalls and correlate findings with various operational and contingency plans. You will evaluate directives and correspondences to determine operational impact and recommend new policy initiatives or automated program enhancements. You will represent the organization as a technical authority at high-level working groups and maintain an extensive interface network with external partner agencies. You will lead research and development for new logistics capabilities, fuel initiatives, and operational synchronization concepts to enhance overall mission readiness. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.Managing and synchronizing petroleum logistics operations, including resource allocation and cross-leveling of assets with partners. 2.Analyzing readiness data to identify shortfalls and correlate findings with operational and contingency plans. 3.Evaluating directives to determine operational impact and recommending new policy and program initiatives. 4.Representing the organization as a technical authority and maintaining an interface network with external agencies. 5.Leading research and development for new petroleum logistics capabilities and operational synchronization concepts. 6. Understanding and utilizing bulk petroleum logistics management concepts, policies, methods, and regulatory requirements, especially those that govern bulk petroleum logistics support planning.
