Role Description The Customer Service Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Mt. Laurel, NJ. This role is responsible for providing friendly, efficient service to customers, including operating the register, handling transactions, and assisting with inquiries. Daily tasks include preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and restocking shelves and displays. The Associate helps ensure a positive customer experience by following Wawa service standards, resolving concerns, and supporting store promotions. This position works closely with team members and store leadership to meet operational goals and uphold Wawa’s commitment to community and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with a focus on creating welcoming interactions. Experience in Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction, demonstrating the ability to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships. Professional Phone Etiquette and communication skills for handling calls and inquiries clearly and courteously. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or food service environment, including cash handling and basic point-of-sale operations. Reliable attendance, flexibility to work varied shifts (including weekends and holidays), and capability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during shifts. Team-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with store policies. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous customer service or retail experience is a plus.
