Journeyman Electrician

Reports To Master Electrician Overview: ANCO is looking for dedicated Electricians seeking a fulfilling career working on a variety of commercial and utility projects. ANCO offers mentorship, career progression, great pay, and benefits. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems on-site. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience and is licensed to perform unsupervised work that is expected to meet NEC compliance. Duties/Responsibilities Oversee the work of an Apprentice Electrician in various tasks. Read blueprints and possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring. Use hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment. Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills And Physical Requirements High mechanical aptitude, good with hands, organized, and analytical. Endure prolonged periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders. Possess physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits. Frequently lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Comfortable with heights.
