About This Role Warehouse Clerk Florcraft Carpet One has an opening available for an experienced warehouse professional for a long standing retail flooring business known for our superior customer service and professional staff. If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. What You'll Do Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to: Warehouse Management Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc. Inventory Management Receive and inspect incoming flooring materials. Schedule Larger Deliveriess Manage Pick ups and Small Deliveries Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts. Cut carpet and prepare flooring orders for installers and customers. Coordinate delivery and pickup schedules with the sales/installation teams. Perform light-duty driving and local deliveries to job sites. Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively Opportunity to take on additional training to increase pay rate Requirements Qualifications for this position: High attention to detail Good communication skills both verbally and written Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system Able to follow written directions and assemble basic displays Problem Solving skills. Valid Drivers License and Clean Driving Record Able to lift 50-75lbs. Good people skills Independent proactive planner Critical thinker Team player Flexible/Open work schedule APPLICANTS MUST BE ANCHORAGE BASED OR IN THE REGION. Nice To Haves Ability to run carpet cutting machine Warehouse or flooring experience a plus Able to Operate a Forklift Experience Scheduling Flooring Installation Blind Installation Tinkerer Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Leave Sick Leave Retirement Plan Full-time, weekday schedule (some flexibility depending on business needs).
