Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, working full-time night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Deliver patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in the care planning process. Coordinate and document safe care delivery through effective communication and teamwork. Engage in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Mentor and serve as a preceptor to other nurses and healthcare staff. Adhere to organizational policies, legal standards, and quality and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Active RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Associate’s or diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and technological skills. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with professionalism.
