Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Dental Hygienist located in Dubuque, IA. The Registered Dental Hygienist will provide comprehensive preventive dental care, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and patient education on oral hygiene and disease prevention. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, performing clinical assessments, taking and interpreting dental radiographs, and collaborating with dentists on treatment plans. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to infection control and safety protocols, and supporting a positive, patient-centered experience for individuals and families. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Dentistry, Hygiene, and Dental Care, with a focus on high-quality patient treatment and education. Proficiency in Dental Prophylaxis procedures, including scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments. Knowledge of Periodontal Disease assessment, management, and patient instruction on home care strategies. Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Iowa, or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience with digital radiography and modern dental technology, and adherence to infection control standards. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to continuing education and staying current with best practices in dental hygiene and patient care.
