# IBM Red Hat Sales Development Representative

Introduction As a Digital Sales Specialist specializing in Red Hat, you will drive business for Red Hat products and services. Your focus will be on promoting and selling solutions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Edge. Your Role And Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include: Drive Business Growth: Deliver sales results by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers to promote Red Hat products and services. Promote Red Hat Solutions: Support the sales process by providing product information, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value of Red Hat solutions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Edge. Execute Sales Strategies: Implement sales plans and tactics to achieve sales targets, expand existing customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities for Red Hat products and services. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Required Technical And Professional Expertise Exposure to Red Hat Products: Familiarity with Red Hat products and services, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, and Red Hat Edge. Experience with Sales Processes: Understanding of sales principles, practices, and techniques, including identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, developing sales strategies, and building customer relationships. Knowledge of Solution Selling: Ability to promote and sell solutions, provide product information, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the value of Red Hat solutions. Familiarity with Sales Planning: Understanding of sales planning and execution, including implementing sales plans and tactics to achieve sales targets and expand existing customer relationships. Experience with Customer Engagement: Ability to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and provide solutions to drive business growth. Preferred Technical And Professional Experience Additional Red Hat Certifications: Exposure to Red Hat certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) can be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with Cloud Computing: Understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including private, public, and hybrid clouds, can be advantageous in promoting Red Hat solutions. Knowledge of IT Industry Trends: Familiarity with current IT industry trends, including digital transformation, DevOps, and containerization, can help in identifying new sales opportunities and developing sales strategies.
