SUPERVISORY IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. Advises staff regarding policies, procedures, and directives of higher-level management or headquarters. Leads development of Project Management Plans (PMPs) establishing scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and performance criteria. Integrates IA issues into the acquisition process, including ensuring cybersecurity requirements are included in procurement plans and associated inputs, while following appropriate supply chain risk management practices. Ensures developers provide life-cycle security expertise to identify system-specific requirements and build protection/detection capabilities aligned with cybersecurity architecture. Implements Acquisition Controls to ensure projects are on time and on target. In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-15 grade level, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level (GS/GG-14) in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience operating as executive-level leadership, managing agency-wide strategic plans, and holding direct accountability for multi-million-dollar IT portfolios and enterprise-wide policy formulation.
