Staff Accountant/Accounting Specialist

United Container Company is seeking a detail oriented and motivated accounting professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant / Accounting Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand beyond a traditional accounts payable or accounts receivable role. The position provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of accounting and multiple business entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, customer billing, account reconciliations, intercompany activity, and month end processes. The role works closely with accounting, operations, sales, warehouse, and leadership teams and offers opportunities for professional growth, cross training, process improvement, and increased accounting responsibility over time.
