Specifically, our team is responsible for the company's technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure, providing 24x7 support to ensure an uninterrupted, high-quality experience for customers and colleagues. We also provide product management for core enterprise platforms, and lead technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms on behalf of the company. In this role of a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will contribute to building and enhancing security-focused web applications, services, and integrations that help enable a secure software development lifecycle (Secure SDLC). You will work across both frontend and backend development, delivering end-to-end features that may include user interfaces, APIs, backend services, automation, integrations, and security tooling. Our technology stack spans React, Node.js, Java, Python, Go, and other technologies, so you will have the flexibility and opportunity to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools based on project needs. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, develop and test software, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve application reliability, scalability, usability, and security. You will also gain hands-on exposure to application security concepts and how security controls and practices can be integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, working across technologies, and building practical solutions that improve the security and developer experience of our engineering ecosystem Responsibilities Cybersecurity Engineer I develops and maintains software applications, writes secure, clean and efficient code, completes code reviews with guidance and automated testing to ensure high-quality deliverables, debugs software components, and supports and monitors software across various environments. Develops and maintains software applications Writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code Completes code reviews and automated testing with guidance from peers and leaders Debugs basic software components and identifies code defects for remediation Supports and monitors software across test, integration, and production environments Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives Qualifications Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or comparable experience Work Experience Software engineering and development experience or a related job experience in application design, software development, and automated testing Experience in object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages like Python, GO, Java, Javascript etc Experience in distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, NoSQL and relational databases Knowledge of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s) Experience in automation testing and documentation (i.e. automated, functional, and performance) Leverage AI tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, documentation, and problem-solving in day-to-day development.
