Role Description The Vice President Information Technology is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the organization’s overall technology vision, strategy, and operations. This role will oversee IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data management, and cybersecurity to support investment activities and portfolio companies. The Vice President will collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives, manage vendor relationships, and ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with relevant regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing IT projects, setting standards and policies, optimizing digital workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and guiding technology adoption across the organization and its network. The role will also mentor IT team members, manage budgets, and contribute to long-term strategic planning related to digital innovation and analytics. Qualifications Strong foundation in Information Technology, including infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity. Demonstrated experience in IT Management, including overseeing teams, vendors, budgets, and operational performance. Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy aligned with organizational goals and investment priorities. Advanced Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Strategic Planning capabilities, with experience shaping long-term technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives. Experience in investment, startup, healthcare, or health-tech environments is highly beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional setting. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
