Compensation: To $112K, plus bonus. Job Overview – Senior Financial Analyst – 34473 Please note: This position is based in the Charlotte area, and the client is not offering relocation assistance at this time. Join a global manufacturing organization that is continuing to invest in its Finance organization and is adding a Senior Financial Analyst to its high-performing FP&A team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business, solving complex problems, and turning financial data into actionable insights. Rather than simply reporting the numbers, this role will help influence operational performance, profitability, and strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with Operations, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams while gaining broad exposure to the business and opportunities for continued career growth. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Financial Analysis Partner with Operations and functional leaders to provide financial guidance and decision support. Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities. Evaluate profitability, productivity, labor, material costs, and operational KPIs. Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. Planning, Forecasting & Financial Modeling Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes. Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business decisions. Perform detailed variance analysis and communicate key findings to leadership. Partner with business leaders to improve forecast accuracy and financial performance. Strategic Finance & Business Support Develop business cases and ROI analyses for capital investments and strategic initiatives. Support pricing, cost reduction, productivity, and operational improvement initiatives. Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to leadership. Assist with evaluating investment decisions and other strategic business initiatives. Reporting & Process Improvement Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and financial presentations. Support financial reporting and analysis across multiple business units. Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes. Leverage data and analytics to enhance financial visibility and decision-making. Partner with Accounting to ensure financial reporting accuracy and forecast integrity. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Operations Finance, or a related analytical role. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into meaningful business recommendations. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively partner with business leaders. Self-motivated, analytical professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
