Apartment Maintenance Technician | Residential Communities | Quad Cities, IA Keep Our Community Running at Its Best Pay: $20.50-$30.00 per hour/ depending on experience Are you someone who takes pride in solving problems, completing repairs correctly the first time, and creating a well-maintained living environment for residents? We're searching for an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Quad Cities area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys a variety of maintenance tasks and values being part of a team that keeps apartment communities safe, attractive, and operating efficiently. What You'll Do Complete service requests in occupied apartment homes Perform preventive maintenance throughout the community Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues Prepare apartment homes for new residents through quality turn and renovation work Maintain building systems, common areas, grounds, and amenities Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as scheduled Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety policies and property standards Assist with inspections and identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues Knowledge & Skills Experience performing maintenance in apartment communities, multi-family housing, hotels, or similar residential settings Working knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing repairs, appliance diagnostics, and HVAC troubleshooting Ability to complete apartment turns, including drywall repair, painting, fixture replacement, and finish work Experience prioritizing resident service requests while maintaining quality workmanship Understanding of preventive maintenance practices for residential property operations Ability to use maintenance software, work orders, and mobile technology Strong attention to detail and commitment to community appearance Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors What We Offer Opportunity for professional growth through training programs 401(k), company match up to 4% and fully vested upon participation Medical, dental & vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Employee rent discount Employer paid group life insurance Voluntary life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Allstate supplemental insurance Vet Pet Insurance Employer paid virtual telehealth program Holiday pay (6 company-wide holidays and 3 flexible holidays) Employer HSA monthly contribution Ready to Apply?
