Junior Applications Engineer

The Net.America Corporation is seeking a Junior Applications Engineer. The Junior Applicatons Engineer duties will include: Develop design documentation for new functionality or changes to existing functionality Develop code to implement new functionality or change existing functionality (based on requirements/design documentation) using Java, J2EE, XML and SQL Develop code to fix system defects Perform code unit testing Participate in requirements working sessions Perform test case and code peer reviews Create technical documentation (e.g. build plans, release notes, etc.) Serve as a primary contact for troubleshooting and providing solutions to production issues Java development (1-3 years) SQL (1-3 years) J2EE (1-3 years) EJB (1-3 years) Software Development Lifecycle (1-3 years) Unix/Linux familiarity (1-3 years) Design documentation (1-3 years) Preffered Skills: Requirements analysis and development (1 year) Oracle (1-3 years) Rational Tools (e.g. Clear Case, Clear Quest, Rational Software Architect) (1-3 years) Section 508 experience (1-3 years) Access control / authorization experience (1 year) CMMI (1 year) Java code profiling (1 year) We look forward to receiving your application!
