Graphic Designer, Creative Services Location: Norwood, MA Department: Marketing & Creative Services Position Summary M.S. Walker is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team . Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role is responsible for creating high-impact visual materials that support sales growth, brand visibility, and customer engagement throughout our wholesale markets in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The Graphic Designer will develop a wide range of print and digital assets including point-of-sale materials, menus, shelf talkers, case cards, sell sheets, posters, table tents, event materials, and account-specific marketing collateral. This position works closely with sales teams, brand managers, suppliers, and marketing colleagues to deliver compelling designs that meet brand standards while addressing unique customer and market needs across New England. The ideal candidate is highly creative, organized, and capable of balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and brand consistency. Work Arrangement This is a hybrid position based in Norwood, Massachusetts. Employees are expected to work from the office a minimum of two days per week, with additional in-office presence required for team collaboration, creative reviews, department meetings, photo shoots, training, and other business needs. Key Responsibilities Creative Design & Production Design and produce a broad range of sales and marketing materials for wine, spirits, and beverage brands. Create point-of-sale materials including shelf talkers, case cards, posters, table tents, tasting mats, signage, display materials, and promotional merchandise. Develop custom menus and account-specific promotional materials for restaurants, bars, retailers, and chain accounts. Design sell sheets, presentations, event materials, invitations, digital assets, and other branded collateral. Adapt existing supplier and brand creative for local market and customer-specific needs while maintaining brand integrity and compliance requirements. Prepare press-ready production files and digital assets according to printer and vendor specifications. Ensure all designs meet applicable regulatory, compliance, and supplier requirements. Utilize approved AI-powered design and productivity tools to enhance creative development, accelerate production workflows, generate concepts and design variations, assist with image editing, and improve efficiency while maintaining brand standards, regulatory compliance, and design quality. Maintain a high standard of creativity, accuracy, and attention to detail across all deliverables. Project Management Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Review creative requests and gather necessary assets, specifications, dimensions, and brand guidelines to ensure project success. Coordinate revisions and approvals with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners. Communicate project timelines, priorities, and status updates clearly and proactively. Prioritize projects based on business needs, deadlines, and market demands. Maintain organized project files, templates, and artwork archives. Collaboration & Support Partner closely with sales representatives, brand managers, trade marketing, and marketing leadership to develop effective visual solutions. Support sales initiatives and supplier programs across all New England wholesale markets. Collaborate on creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for promotional campaigns, events, and customer engagement initiatives. Coordinate with printers, promotional vendors, and production partners to ensure high-quality execution of finished materials. Participate in department meetings, training sessions, and other collaborative activities that support organizational goals. Brand Stewardship Ensure consistency across all materials and adherence to established brand standards. Maintain and organize digital assets, templates, and design resources. Stay current on design trends, printing technologies, software innovations, and emerging creative tools. Help elevate the overall quality, effectiveness, and impact of M.S. Walker's visual communications and sales support materials. Additional Responsibilities Assist sales representatives and portfolio managers with delivery and receipt of finished printed materials for Regional Distribution and National Brands as needed. Operate and maintain printers, large-format printers, cutters, laminators, and related finishing equipment. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. 3+ years of professional graphic design experience. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including: Adobe InDesign Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and print production processes. Experience designing marketing collateral, sales materials, advertising, or promotional assets. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Preferred Experience in the wine, spirits, beverage, hospitality, retail, or consumer packaged goods industries. Experience designing menus, point-of-sale materials, retail signage, and digital assets. Knowledge of large-format printing, direct mail, and promotional production processes. Experience with PowerPoint presentation design and digital asset management systems. Photography editing and image-retouching experience.
