Building Maintenance Technician

Make Ready Technician Location: Bear, DE Pay Range: $24-$27 Per Hour, Based on Experience Duration: Full-Time, Direct Hire Position Overview Our client in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a dependable and experienced Make Ready Technician to join their maintenance team. This position is responsible for preparing vacant units and facilities for occupancy by completing repairs, maintenance, and improvements while ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect vacant units and complete make-ready checklists. Perform painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, appliance installation, tile repair, and door re-keying. Replace filters and complete general maintenance tasks. Assist with work orders, preventative maintenance, and quality inspections. Participate in after-hours emergency maintenance rotation as assigned. Desired Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of maintenance, make-ready, or related experience. Valid driver's license is required. Ability to work independently and follow directions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Effective communication skills. Must provide and maintain personal hand tools. Availability to participate in an on-call maintenance rotation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable using maintenance equipment and tools.
