# Senior Software Engineer (Python)

Senior Software Engineer (Python) We are looking for a top-notch developer to design and buildstate-of-the-art software to take us to the next level. Responsibilities
• Design and implement portions of the back-end engine.
• Create and maintain APIs and other engine integration points. Requirements
• 5+ years software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python
• Experience with Linux management.
• Experience with distributed systems
• Solid understanding and practical experience using object-oriented designprinciples and patterns
• Background and interest in machine learning and recommendation systems.
• A strong math background is a plus
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines a plus
• Experience in rocket scientry a huge plus Ideally
• Actively contribues to open source software
• Passionate about coding standards, naming conventions, and code cleanliness.
• Experience with Tornado server
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with Git
