Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Ortho Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and providers, ensuring patient satisfaction and safety. The RN participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through council involvement. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and deliver safe, effective care Document assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately Advocate for patients, address concerns, and communicate health information to families and staff Contribute to quality improvement efforts and process enhancements Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and participate in ongoing training and development Mentor and support colleagues, promote a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality and safety standards Qualifications & Skills: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred) Current RN license; BLS certification required Experience in direct patient care preferred Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills
