As a Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll provide resident-centered care across our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing neighborhoods while working in an intimate, boutique setting designed to provide an elevated senior living experience. This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents while growing your nursing career in a premium senior living setting. Schedule: Full-time RN opportunities are available on day and night shifts with 12-hour shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Follows policies and practices to ensure consistency with current standards promulgated by appropriate local, state, and federal regulatory bodies and within limits of the respective State Nurse Practice Act. Is competent in acting in emergency situations based on Safety Manual, Internal and External Emergency Preparedness and other policies. Complies with Mather Code of Conduct, Policies, Compliance Program, and all applicable laws and regulations in performance of one’s job duties; reports all known and suspected violations to his/her supervisor or manager, Mather Compliance officer, a Human Resources representative, or the confidential employee helpline. Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process. Assesses each resident’s physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, cultural, educational and discharge planning needs, as appropriate. Participates in the establishment of desired outcomes with resident, family, and interdisciplinary team. Participates in the development of a care plan/service plan. Delegates tasks based on resident need and according to knowledge and skill of the designated caregiver. Performs personal care for residents, as needed, i.e. toileting, bathing, etc. Documents nursing care per documentation policy and standards. Applies the concepts of the Mather Wellness Model and the 3 A’s in the care of residents, Achievement, Autonomy, and Affiliation. Assists in licensing and survey preparedness and processes. Uses a customer-focused approach to problem solving philosophy. Maintains a courteous and professional manner through interactions with others. Communicates with residents and families in a timely manner. Uses discretion in handling confidential information, incorporating all Federal, State and local privacy and confidentiality requirements. Provides input for all relevant human resource functions including but not limited to: hiring and retention. Responsible for upholding resident rights. Participates in resident and family education and counseling. Interactions with employees, residents, resident representatives, and guests will reflect our commitment to inclusivity. Create exceptional experiences for internal and external customers in every interaction. Operates efficiently within established parameters to maximize available resources. Participates in orientation of new employees. Attends/participates in care center meetings, in-services and committee meetings. Increases personal growth and development through formal and informal education programs. Facilitates teamwork between functional departments to promote effective operations. Participates in employee wellness opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required: Current state RN license. Good clinical assessment skills and technical knowledge. CPR/AED certification Preferred: 1+ years' experience in skilled Nursing setting. Supervisory/leadership experience.
