Project Manager – High-End Custom Homes RTH Building Company | Montclair, NJ RTH Building Company is a luxury custom home builder based in Montclair, New Jersey, building some of the most detailed homes in the NJ/NY region. We're a fast-paced, detail-driven team with a laid-back culture, and we're growing. We're looking for a Project Manager who can take full ownership of complex residential projects, lead from the front, and deliver at a high level. What You'll Do • Manage day-to-day operations across multiple high-end custom home projects • Review plans, specifications, and proposals to fully understand scope • Build and manage detailed project budgets and schedules • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams • Oversee construction to ensure alignment with plans and RTH's quality standards • Solve problems in real time and keep projects moving • Handle material ordering and procurement throughout the build • Conduct detailed inspections at each phase before approving work for payment • Maintain safe, organized job sites and enforce best practices • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with a professional, confident presence • Deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and at the highest level of quality What We're Looking For • 8–10+ years of experience in high-end residential construction • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects at once • Strong command of construction details, materials, and sequencing • Highly organized, with strong communication and leadership skills • Self-starter who operates well with minimal supervision • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (UDA ConstructionOnline a plus) • Valid driver's license Not a Fit If • You need constant direction or prefer a slower pace • Your experience is primarily commercial without high-end residential detail • You're not comfortable being client-facing Compensation • $110,000 - $150,000 (Based on experience) • Performance-based bonuses • Long term growth opportunities Why RTH • Build some of the most detailed custom homes in New Jersey • Tight-knit, high-performing team • Real ownership and autonomy on your projects • Opportunity to grow with a respected, expanding luxury builder Location Montclair, NJ (projects throughout NJ/NY) How to Apply Apply directly through LinkedIn and email your resume and phone number to Christine at christine.anthony@rthbuildingco.com.
