Role Overview: The registered nurse provides safe, therapeutic care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities Adhere to nursing standards and demonstrate competence annually in critical behaviors. Promote teamwork and maintain positive professional relationships. Perform IV therapy, medication administration, and understand related knowledge and competency requirements. Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff. Participate in organization-wide performance improvement activities and quality control. Apply organizational values consistently in professional interactions. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills Minimum associate degree in nursing; bachelor’s preferred. Current RN licensure in California; BLS and ACLS certifications as applicable. Basic computer skills; preferred experience in the specific service area and acute care.
