This role serves as a technical leader within the Information Security organization, ensuring security technologies are highly available, securely configured, integrated with enterprise systems and aligned with organizational security objectives. Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, maintain and optimize enterprise security tools, including new tool features and tool integrations Manage tool lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, patching, capacity planning and decommissioning Primary technical owner for assigned security tools/platforms Develop automation and an engineering first approach to reduce manual efforts Partner with security operations to ensure tools support operational workflows Establish metrics, KPIs and maturity roadmaps for security tooling effectiveness Ensure tools are configured, proactively monitored and maintained according to security best practices Participate in change management operations and other shared duties Requirements: 4-year bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience required 8+ years of experience in security technical experience 5+ years of experience in network security Experience with deploying and maintaining enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, VM, Cloud Security and Security Orchestration and Automation tools Strong scripting and automation skills including Python and experience building automation workflows, integrations or tooling to support security operations Experience with Windows and Linux server administration This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule. The pay range is $135,800 - $183,800. The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
