Accountant

What You’ll Do Process check payments in accordance with company policies and approval requirements. Record and apply cash receipts, research payment discrepancies, and keep accounts current. Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items. Prepare and post recurring and nonrecurring journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. Maintain prepaid expense and accrual schedules and record monthly adjustments. Support month-end and year-end close activities to meet reporting deadlines. Maintain organized accounting records and assist with internal and external audit requests. Contribute to special projects and other accounting activities as needed. What You’ll Bring A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Three to five years of accounting or bookkeeping experience is preferred. Experience with accounts payable, cash receipts, account reconciliations, journal entries, prepaids, and accruals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using an accounting or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
