Mammography Technologist - Full-Time

Role: Mammography Technologist I Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic mammography procedures, prepare equipment, develop films, and evaluate image quality. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality while adhering to all regulatory standards (MQSA/ACR). Educate patients, verify physician orders, and manage contrast media as needed. Input patient data accurately into computer systems and provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, and staff. Maintain radiation safety by following established protocols, conducting quality assurance, and minimizing exposure. Observe patients during procedures, report any changes, and respond rapidly to contrast reactions. Ensure a clean, organized work environment and participate in shift rotations and standby calls. Comply with safety, infection control, and OSHA policies. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certified Radiologic Technologist (WA) and Basic Life Support certification at hire Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills Washington state Mammography Technologist certification or willing to train with two years radiology experience Preferred: At least one year of mammography experience.
