Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting for Petite Plume. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, preparing and interpreting financial statements, and generating financial reports for leadership. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product profitability, monitor cost structures, and support pricing and inventory decisions. The role also involves identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, recommending data-driven actions, and contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and tools. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant outputs. Relevant experience in retail, consumer products, or apparel, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
