Receptionist at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Waxahachie: Performs clerical duties including distribution of mail and messages, monitoring office supplies, and maintaining postage meter Assist with chart preparation Assist with Admissions Check in pre-op patients Copy identification and insurance Communication with Pre-Op nursing staff Collect patient responsibility as determined by the Insurance Verifier Provide relief to Admitting, Office Assistant, and Scheduling as required Operates telephone system including receiving incoming calls, taking messages, identify nature of business and call Other duties and responsibilities as by Business Office Manager Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment What We Offer As an organization, one way we care for our communities and each other is by providing competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage Life and AD&D coverage Availability of short- and long-term disability Flexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs 401(k) and access to retirement planning Paid holidays and vacation Who We Are At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
