WINDOWS SERVICE DEVELOPER – .NET / C# Location: Orlando, FL | Fully Onsite Salary: $125,000–$160,000 | Based on Experience Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Senior / Expert Key Skills: C# | .NET | Windows Services | Windows Internals | Multithreading Position Overview Our client, a fast-growing cybersecurity software company, is seeking a senior-level Windows Service Developer to build and optimize high-performance services powering endpoint security and system management solutions. This role requires deep expertise in C#/.NET, Windows internals, multithreaded applications, and secure software development within performance-critical environments. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Windows Services using C#/.NET. Build solutions interacting with Windows APIs, services, file systems, networking, and system components. Develop endpoint management, privilege control, monitoring, and security functionality. Troubleshoot complex concurrency, memory, communication, and OS-level issues. Profile, debug, and optimize service performance. Develop and integrate REST APIs and service-to-service communication. Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams. Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews. What You’ll Bring Expert-level C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET experience. Extensive experience building Windows Services and multithreaded applications. Deep knowledge of Windows internals, including services, registry, processes, permissions, and system architecture. Experience working with Windows APIs and low-level OS functionality. Strong TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and networking knowledge. Experience with debugging and profiling tools such as WinDbg and Process Monitor. REST API development and integration experience. Working knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization. Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Experience Cybersecurity or endpoint management software. Application control or privilege management technologies. System monitoring, observability, and diagnostics. High-performance, enterprise-scale software environments.
