Job Description We are seeking Senior Java Developers specialized in Customer Domain to develop backend systems for ColendiBank’s digital banking platform. We are looking for experienced developers with strong banking domain expertise in: Customer onboarding and customer acquisition KYC and identity verification processes Customer master data and profile management Customer lifecycle, status, and segmentation management Individual and corporate customer structures Customer consent, communication preferences, and regulatory information Digital channels, core banking, and external verification system integrations If you have hands-on software development experience specifically in banking Customer Domain systems and would like to be part of ColendiBank, we would love to connect. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services for customer onboarding, KYC, identity verification, and customer lifecycle processes Design and implement services for customer master data, profile information, status management, segmentation, and customer relationships Develop individual and corporate customer management functionalities in line with banking business requirements Integrate customer services with digital channels, core banking systems, authentication platforms, compliance systems, and external verification services Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices supporting digital customer journeys Ensure customer data consistency, security, confidentiality, traceability, and auditability across distributed systems Develop reliable validation, exception management, retry, and integration flows for customer-related processes Support high-volume and highly available customer services used across banking products and channels Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Collaborate closely with product, business analysis, QA, compliance, operations, and core banking teams What We’re Looking For Minimum 4 years of hands-on software development experience specifically in Customer Domain within the banking sector Strong Java and Spring Boot development experience Hands-on development experience in banking customer systems such as customer onboarding, KYC, customer master data, profile management, customer status, or segmentation Experience in individual and/or corporate customer data models and customer lifecycle processes Experience integrating with core banking, digital channels, identity verification, authentication, compliance, or external data provider systems Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed backend systems Experience with high-volume transactional systems Strong knowledge of data consistency, security, audit logging, and sensitive customer data management Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases Familiarity with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Core banking experience is considered a plus Join Us At ColendiBank, you’ll play a key role in redefining the retail banking experience.
